Location: North Bradford Area
Salary: up to £45,000
A well established independent accountancy practice in the North Bradford area is looking to recruit an experienced Senior Accountant to join its growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded practice professional who enjoys working closely with clients, supporting business owners, and providing advice beyond traditional compliance work.
The role offers a highly varied workload, direct exposure to Partners, and the opportunity to become a key figure within an established and respected practice.

Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant job include:
• Managing a portfolio of SME clients
• Acting as a key point of contact for client relationships
• Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts
• Reviewing work completed by junior team members
• Supporting business advisory and consultancy projects
• Assisting clients with forecasting, cashflow planning and commercial decision making
• Supporting Partners with technical and client-related matters
• Providing practical solutions across a broad range of accounting and business issues
• Assisting with tax-related work and client queries where required
Requirements of the Senior Accountant job include:
• Previous experience working within UK accountancy practice
• ACA / ACCA qualified, part-qualified or qualified by experience considered
• Strong accounts preparation and client management experience
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
• Experience reviewing work and supporting junior staff
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Commercially minded with a proactive approach to client service
