Management Accountant

Role: Management Accountant (Full-time- Permanent)
Location: Doncaster
Salary: £42,500 - £45,000

About the role:

We are supporting a leading, recognised brand within the e-fulfilment and logistics sector as they continue to grow their Finance team at their Harworth site.

This fast-paced operation manages the movement of customer-specific products across a dynamic warehouse environment.

We are now looking for a Management Accountant to join the business and play a key role in supporting the day-to-day finance function and monthly reporting processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing Fixed Asset and Leasing accounting
• Supporting the preparation of monthly management accounts
• Posting journals and investigating variances
• Preparing balance sheet reconciliations
• Assisting with budgeting, forecasting and cash flow reporting
• Supporting external audits and group reporting requirements
• Driving continuous improvement across finance processes
• Mentoring and supporting junior Finance team members
• Producing ad hoc reports for senior management

What We're Looking For:

• Previous experience in a Management Accountant or similar finance role, ideally within the Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain sector
• Strong month-end and reconciliation experience
• Analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail
• Confident communicator with the ability to investigate and explain variances
• Experience within logistics, warehousing or fast-paced environments is advantageous
• A proactive approach and desire to improve processes
