Warehouse Operative

Montgomery | Full time | £14.30 per hour

39 hours per week, rotating shifts
Week 1:
Monday to Thursday, 6:00am – 2:15pm
Friday, 6:00am – 2:30pm
Week 2:
Monday to Thursday, 2:00pm – 10:15pm
Friday, 2:00pm – 10:30pm

Role Overview

We are recruiting for a Goods In & Warehouse Operative to join a busy and supportive team in Churchstoke. This role involves managing incoming deliveries, organising stock, and supporting daily warehouse operations in a fast-paced environment. You will be working as part of a well-established team within a local business, ensuring accuracy and efficiency across all warehouse activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Unloading and booking in deliveries safely
• Checking goods against delivery notes
• Inspecting items for damage and quality
• Storing stock in the correct warehouse locations
• Picking, packing, and dispatching orders
• Maintaining a clean and organised warehouse
• Following all health and safety procedures
• Assisting with stock checks and inventory control

Skills & Experience

• Previous warehouse or goods-in experience is preferred
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Basic IT skills for stock management systems
• Experience with SAP or ERP systems is advantageous but not essential
• Valid forklift licence is essential
