Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual SEND profiles

  • Adapt curriculum content and learning materials to meet a wide range of needs

  • Provide a nurturing, structured, and inclusive classroom environment

  • Support pupils with personal care, physical needs, or medical routines where required

  • Develop and deliver targeted interventions for communication, social skills, literacy, numeracy, and emotional regulation

  • Collaborate closely with the SENCO, support staff, therapists, and multi-agency teams

  • Monitor progress against EHCP outcomes and contribute to reviews and assessments

  • Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils and families



We Are Looking For Someone Who:

  • Is an experienced SEN Teacher with strong knowledge of SEND strategies

  • Is confident supporting pupils with personal care

  • Has experience with autism, ADHD, SEMH, speech and language needs, or complex learning difficulties

  • Demonstrates calm, nurturing behaviour management and a child-centred approach

  • Can adapt teaching creatively to engage pupils working at a variety of levels

  • Works collaboratively and communicates effectively with staff, families, and professionals

  • Is resilient, reflective, and committed to inclusive education
